andrewbarbel The somber melancholy of this album makes for great "wintertime blues" music to wallow in.

"Hadrian & His Son" resonates with a deep hurt that I can't put a finger on, but isn't a burden to confront. Driving chords on a solitary piano ringing out into a resonating void. It sounds like mourning a dearly beloved soul who has passed away in some tiny and old church with worn down pews and every hymnal spine is cracked from loving use. Favorite track: Hadrian & His Son.

sisweetman Jack so wonderfully capture's the hope, the melancholy and the struggle of clinging to meaning in a collapsing world. This whole suite gives me goosebumps as I listen to it. Favorite track: The Boat.

Adam There's a feeling that flows between every song that characterizes Hieron, and it's a feeling of home, like you just sat down to rest during a long journey, comforted by the warm fact that you're surrounded by friends, despite what cold darkness might lie beyond the glow of the fire. Favorite track: The Warmth of Love.
